Cookie Policy

This policy explains how gnotec.com uses cookies and similar technologies. In short: our website does not use cookies to track or profile visitors, and we do not show a cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage in the browser, work in the same way. They can be used to make a website work, or to follow visitors across visits and websites.

Cookies on our website

Visitors. When you browse gnotec.com, we do not set any cookies. We do not use Google Analytics, advertising cookies, social media tracking or any other technology that follows you across visits or websites.

Fonts and files. All fonts, images and documents on the website are served from our own website. Your browser does not contact Google or other third parties to load them.

Editors. Gnotec employees who log in to edit the website use a strictly necessary cookie during login, and the browser keeps their login in local storage until they log out or the login expires. This only applies to logged-in editors, never to ordinary visitors.

Visitor statistics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see how many people visit the website and which pages are read. It works without cookies and without storing anything in your browser. It does not identify you, does not follow you across websites and does not build profiles. We only see totals, such as number of visits per page, country and type of device.

Spam protection on forms

The white paper form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from bots. It does not use cookies for tracking and does not build profiles; it only checks that the form is sent by a real browser.

Some links lead to services run by others, for example the Gnotec film on YouTube, our pages on LinkedIn and Facebook and our job openings on Teamtailor (careers.gnotec.com). These services are not part of our website. When you follow such a link, the other service’s own cookie and privacy policies apply.

Hosting

The website is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. As part of delivering the website and protecting it against attacks, Cloudflare processes technical data such as IP addresses. Read more in our privacy policy.

Changes

If we start using cookies that are not strictly necessary, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first.
